About the Panelists
Kelly Greene
Kelly Greene is the Pacific Region Risk Consulting Manager for Chubb Personal Risk Services. She leads a team of 18 Risk Consultants who consult with clients during onsite home inspections. Her team documents and values properties in addition to providing individualized loss prevention advice and solutions.
Kelly has over 25 years of experience in the Personal Insurance industry and has developed a strong understanding of the high net worth customer. She also has deep expertise in loss prevention including the perils of wildfire, earthquake and water damage.
Joe Kim
Joe Kim is a San Francisco-based Premier Account Specialist at Chubb where he manages the risk consulting activities for some of the largest accounts involving highly successful families and individuals throughout the country. Joe’s insurance career spans over 25 years that includes nearly 10 years as a property claims adjuster handling large complex property losses as well as providing on-the-ground assistance to clients following natural catastrophes.
Joe leverages his first-hand experiences with life safety and property damage to protect his clients with expert advice on loss prevention and disaster preparedness strategies. Joe was an expert panelist on the topic of Disaster Preparedness during the 2020 PRMA Summit. Joe holds an M.B.A. from Dominican University and a B.S. from Purdue University. He is also a certified Level II infrared thermographer and a licensed drone pilot.
Nicholas Lauria, WDS Chief Operating Officer, Fire Officer III
Nick holds a degree in Fire Science Technology and certificates from both the National Fire Academy and the University of Maryland, Maryland Fire and Research Institute. He began his career in 1992 in Colorado with a municipal fire department and was promoted to Fire Chief in 2002. He joined Wildfire Defense Systems, Inc. in 2012. He has 24 years of fire service experience.
Nick’s qualifications include Firefighter II, HAZMAT operations, Fire Inspector III/Plans Examiner, ICC Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor I, Fire Officer III, Division/Group Supervisor, Taskforce Leader, Strike Team Leader Engines and NAFI Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. Nick was instrumental in helping several jurisdictions develop and implement hazard mitigation and risk management plans, including administering state and federal grants.
Michael Sukle
Michael Sukle, Vice President within the Private Client Group provides personal risk management solutions to affluent individuals and families by providing property and casualty solutions to address their specific exposures to optimize wealth preservation while reducing risk. He has dedicated more than 20 years in the Finance and Insurance industry with a focus in private client, commercial and reinsurance related risk management disciplines.
Michael received his bachelors of science in economics from the University of San Francisco. He holds the Certified Advisor of Personal Insurance (CAPI) designation received in conjunction with Wharton/Chubb which focuses on global risk management disciplines for the High and Ultra High Net worth individual and families.
