Topic: Webinar Topic
What does money mean to you? Please join us for this dynamic session where Dr. Renée Snow will present two different worldviews of the “Meaning of Money”, and our relationship with the same. She will present a unique view of the Time Value of Money, and will delve into some of the traditional Western Wealth Philosophies, such as the Protestant Work Ethic, and how these have informed Western Capitalism, and have created some individual and societal challenges. She will then share some Eastern Philosophies – Vedas, Buddhism, and Jainism, and some of the associated life practices as related to finances and money. There will be learnings that you can share with your clients, and help guide them towards a better balanced relationship with their wealth and finances. There will be time for questions, and some interactive discussion about practical applications.
We hope that this session will take place physically at the UCSC-Extension in Silicon Valley. If community guidelines prohibit large gatherings, we will try and make alternate arrangements.
